Kashmir Tour Package – 4 Nights / 5 Days

This Refund Policy explains how and when refunds are issued for bookings made with Kohwan.

1. Eligibility

Refunds are calculated according to our Cancellation Policy, based on how far in advance the cancellation is received and any non-refundable supplier costs already incurred.

2. How Refunds Are Processed

1. Refunds are made to the original payment method used at booking.
2. Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days; bank/gateway timelines may add a few days.
3. Payment-gateway or transaction charges (where applicable) may be deducted.

3. Non-Refundable Items

Airfare, permits, entry tickets, peak-season hotel/houseboat advances and any pre-paid, non-recoverable supplier costs are non-refundable.

4. Unused Services

No refund is payable for unused services, voluntarily skipped components, late arrivals or early departures once a trip has begun.

5. Force Majeure

Where a trip is disrupted by events beyond our control, we will refund all recoverable amounts after deducting non-refundable supplier costs, or offer a credit/reschedule of equal value.

We understand that plans can change. The following cancellation charges apply to confirmed bookings and are calculated on the total package value.

1. How to Cancel

All cancellation requests must be made in writing to bhatadventuresportsgulmarg@gmail.com. Charges are calculated from the date we receive your written request.

2. Houseboat and hotel bookings during peak season and festivals
3. Special permits, entry tickets and pre-paid activity charges
4. Any advance already paid to suppliers on your behalf

4. Amendments

Date changes or amendments are subject to availability and any difference in tariff, and may attract a nominal amendment fee. We always try to accommodate changes wherever possible.

5. Cancellation by Kohwan

If a trip must be cancelled due to force majeure — heavy snowfall, road closures, natural events or government advisories — we will offer a reschedule or a refund of recoverable amounts (after deducting non-refundable supplier costs).

These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings made with Kohwan. By confirming a booking, you agree to the terms below.

1. Bookings & Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only after we receive the required advance and issue a written confirmation. An advance of 25–50% of the package value is generally required at the time of booking, with the balance due before the trip commences.

2. Pricing

1. All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (₹) and are per person unless stated otherwise.
2. Prices may change due to fuel, taxes, hotel tariffs or government levies before confirmation.
3. Peak-season, festival and long-weekend rates may differ from listed prices.

3. Identification & Permits

Travellers must carry valid government photo ID. Certain areas of Jammu & Kashmir may require special permits, which we will assist in arranging where applicable.

4. Traveller Responsibilities

Guests are responsible for arriving on time for transfers and activities, following the guidance of guides and local authorities, and behaving responsibly toward the environment and local communities.

5. Changes & Cancellations

Amendments and cancellations are governed by our Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy.

6. Force Majeure

Kohwan is not liable for delays, changes or cancellations caused by events beyond our control — including snowfall, landslides, road or highway closures, strikes, weather, or government advisories. In such cases we will offer the best possible alternative, reschedule or refund as per policy.

7. Liability

We act as a booking facilitator between you and service providers. We are not liable for personal injury, loss or damage arising from activities operated by third parties, though we partner only with reputable, licensed operators.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir.
